I samarbejde med Verdenskulturcentret, gennemførte Soulfighters og Actiontank en 2 dages workshop om det multikulturelle København. De 25 deltagere var inviteret på tværs af køn, alder, race og religion. Opgaven var, at komme op med ideer, hvor det multikulturelle skaber værdi. Der blev produceret 40 ideer og vinderideerne ses herunder.

Arrangementet var sponseret af LO's Kulturpulje, Nørrebros Lokaludvalg og British Council. Verdenskulturcentret på Nørrebro lagde lokaler og forplejning til. Kulturborgmester Pia Allerslev deltog i dommerkomiteen.

WINNER:

“Hjemme Hos” + “Ude Hos”  / “At your place” + “In your area”

An idea, where professional artists visit private homes and backyards – with the intention to construct cultural meetings and boost dialogue on issues relevant to the people living there. The artists knock unexpected on the door to private homes. The family get 30 min to gather their friends as an audience. The artists play their performance in the home for the people arrived.

“Integrer Martin” / “Integrate Martin”

A reverse integration project, where it is the Danes that are being integrated. A mentorship arrangement for the open minded, well educated Dane that don’t have any contact with the multicultural Denmark, except through the local kiosk or greengrocer.

Slow Food

A project focusing on the use of big cargo containers as easy transportable marketplaces – bringing the feeling enjoying a world-meal to where people rarely is in contact with this.

“EID fest i Tivoli” / “EID celebration in Tivoli”

The traditional Muslim Eid celebration in an uncommon setting – the traditional and very danish Tivoli.
